View Full Version : 2011 Met Open at Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, NY

Sleepy is a grand old Charles MacDonald design high over the Hudson. A few years ago, trees were removed and bunkers were restored, so it it is now one of the most dramatic courses in the Met area. The Met Open was played there this summer and I got some nice photos during the first round.

The par 3 16th, a "signature" hole:

Par 5 6th; even though most were getting to the green in two, very few birdies were witnessed with the flag on the right side; three putts were the norm:
